Authentication is performed via a secure DESFire smart card, which allows authorized employees to log in to workstations quickly, conveniently, and securely. This login is not limited to accessing electronic patient records but forms the fundamental authentication on the client system. . If the card is removed, the respective workstation automatically locks – ensuring sensitive information and applications are protected from unauthorized access at all times.
The solution was already introduced in 2022 and has since been continuously rolled out across the entire facilityto provide all employees with a uniformly high security standard – regardless of their specific area of work.
