The University of Luxembourg is starting a collaboration with evolutionID, a company specializing in modern digital identity solutions. By introducing automated processes, flexible user permissions, and AI-powered image capture, evolutionID revolutionizes with IDfunction ID card production at the University of Luxembourg.
A central aspect of the project was the integration of automated data import from the Matrix access control system. evolutionID pragmatically extended this process to enable flexible user permissions based on master data. This seamless real-time data transfer between the two systems ensures smooth daily operations and efficient management of user permissions.
A highlight of the project is the AI-powered image capture system, IDimage. At six different production sites, individuals are photographed, and the images are automatically embedded into the ID card design in the desired format. The image background is neutralized with just one click, which not only increases efficiency but also contributes to a consistent appearance of the ID cards.
ID card production is surprisingly simple for users. The imported and enriched data automatically determines the ID card profile to be used. A final check of the ID card preview and a single click are all it takes to print the ID card, including encoding, in about ten seconds – an impressive workflow that consolidates all steps into one.
